Freight deliveries require a delivery time be scheduled and someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the merchandise. A representative from the freight carrier will call the phone number entered at checkout to schedule the delivery.
For freight deliveries, you have the option of adding a liftgate to your delivery. A liftgate is the device that lowers a product from the truck to ground level.
CPO recommends adding liftgate service for freight deliveries exceeding 100 lbs if you do not have a loading dock or fork lift at the delivery address. Additional charges may apply. The liftgate option will be presented during the checkout process.
Please note that liftgate service only ensures the product is removed from the truck. We recommend you have the additional help of two to four people to move the product to its desired location because drivers are not required to assist.
Requesting liftgate service after ordering may result in additional charges and delays.

Comments about GHB-1440A Bench Lathe with Stand:
Delivery took 2 weeks...shipped promptly by CPO, but it sat for over a week at local trucking facility before it was delivered.
The lifting bolt is 3" too long. If it is screwed all the way into the bottom plate, the top can be clamped down securing lift plates to the lathe. However, in this position, the bolt would extend thru the chip plate by 2 1/2". If the bolt is treaded just to the bottom of the bottom lifting plate, then it is impossible properly clamp the lifting plate to the lathe. First job was to shorten the bolt.
One other issue. The unthreaded shoulder on the bolts provided for the follow rest is 1/4" too long. There is no way to secure the follow rest with those bolts.
The lathe has only been operational for 2 days, but first impressions are that it functions as advertised.
