Large table and easy access to blade
I like everything about this saw, especially the 3 bearing blade alignment top and bottom. One big problem is the table. They must cut the blade slot with heat, because mine is 1/16" higher on the right side of the blade slot at the end of the table and 1/32" higher right at the hole in the middle. I didn't notice it right away, but couldn't figure out why everything I cut was crooked. Now everything that I cut gets hung up if it has to move from left to right. I got tired of putting pressure on the right hand side of everything that I cut, so I made my own table top out of a cutting board, and hold it down with clamps (that get in the way and have to be removed from time to time). I contacted the company and told them about my problem, and they told me that it was impossible, so it must be my imagination when I run a level from left to right and it gets stuck in the slot.
I have a limited space so this 10" band saw is ideal for my use. I am very happy with the performance of it.
I've had several band saws and this is by far my favorite. The more I use it the more I love it. Making adjustments on this saw is a breeze, as was the set up. Extremely accurate and the blade provided is very multi purpose.
with proper blade it cuts aluminum nicely.
