This product comes out of the box ready to use, just screw inn two wheels stops. Less than 3 minutes. Moves my jointer around super asy. Looks good, works great.

Good construction and smooth rolling wheels, nice locking stop. Onle one thing would make this better and that would be the ability to attach the jointer to this base.

This mobile base was made for the jointer that I bought (54A). It came assembled in a box, and all I had to do was get it out of the box and lift the jointer onto it. It fits and works. What could be easier?!

Since this purchase I bought a mobility base for a different shop machine. The assembly for it took well over an hour!

I had two other bases before this one, the welds cracked on each one. This bases' welds were strong and it will last forever. The only negative is the locking mechanism for the rear wheels. That system coud be a better one that you could use a foot to engage rather than having to bend down each time to lock the wheels. Other than that it does what it's supposed to do.

Mobile base used for 54HH jointer. VERY easy to move jointer wherever I need it in my small shop.
Jointer slips around on base (not a safety issue). Wish there was a simple way to lock jointer into the mobile base to provide extra stability.
